Lots of hiking (mostly climbing) on Columbus Day weekend.
Mt Willard – This is a THE BEST view for a short hike in the whites. Sadly, we could see nothing from the top as it was extremely foggy. But still, a nice hike.
Arethusa falls is a wonderful hike and a chance to see the tallest waterfall in New Hampshire.
Lonesome lake – was steep and hard. We did this as a preview to the scouts winter hike, no idea how they do this with deep snow. Wasn’t easy but very pretty.
We stayed at the Barron Brook Inn in Whitefield, NH, which was lovely.
